Within the Kindergarten Program, we have specific objectives for the subject areas of Reading, Mathematics, Language, History/Social Science, Socio-Emotional Skills, Physical Education, and Computer Literacy. Meeting these objectives is dependent upon the individual child's readiness for working with and mastering them. Our program offers a combination of total group experiences and collaboration, small group and 1-on-1 teacher instruction, as well as independent choice and responsibility. The ratio changes during the daily schedule; from 1-1 to 1-16 with a maximum of 16 children in a class. Our program follows the California State Standards in all subject areas, including Common Core. The Kindergarten Program is a 5-day per week program (Monday-Friday). We also offer an Afternoon Enrichment Program where children experience additional curriculum and learning opportunities beyond the Kindergarten Program.
